Exploring Portland, One Step At A Time

Join us for our monthly walking tours, where we explore various Portland neighborhoods and support local causes at the same time.

Our Next Walkabout

We’ll tour the Hollywood District on Sunday, February 23rd! We’ll depart from Doe Donuts & Ice Cream at 10:30am.

What Walkabouts Are Like

We meet up, we walk for ~2 hours, and we learn lots along the way. Walkabouts are free to attend, and also, on each tour, we collect donations for an organization in that neighborhood. 100% of the donations collected go directly to the organization. We also usually have a bingo game going during the tour where you cross off boxes as you see and hear certain things, helping hone your observation skills. We focus on demographic changes in the neighborhoods and touch on other topics like transportation, architecture, industry, and public art.
